STUDENT of the MONTH
Medina senior Sabrina Boyd has been selected as the Medina County Kiwanis October Student of the Month by a panel of teachers from the Medina County Career Center.
Sabrina is a senior in the Engineering Technologies & Design program, where she serves as class secretary and a student ambassador. Additionally, Sabrina is a member of the National Technical Honor Society and SkillsUSA, and she gained valuable experience this past summer as a quality engineer intern at F.I.T. Inc. Her classmates describe her as welcoming, cheerful, hardworking, and always willing to help her peers. Sabrina’s academic strengths include coursework in AP Calculus, AP Physics, Digital Electronics, Government and Politics, U.S. History, and College Composition I and II. At Medina High School, Sabrina competes on the rugby team as a fullback, earning MVP honors during her junior year. She has also been a member of the Medina swim team as a diver and has maintained Honor Roll status since her freshman year. She is the daughter of William and Lisa Boyd. After graduation, Sabrina plans to pursue a degree in engineering.
