With the help of experienced and dedicated staff like our Medical Assisting Aide and Practicum Coordinator, Martha Janczura, the Medina County Career Center Adult Education | Ohio Technical Center’s South Campus facility has put in place everything our adult education students need to succeed in the healthcare field.
Herself a graduate of MCCC’s high school and Adult Education Medical Assisting program, Martha Janczura brings a personal perspective to making our healthcare instruction the best it can be.
In addition to providing expert guidance in the classroom, Janczura works hard to ensure that our adult learners have excellent opportunities for their mandatory 160-hour Practicum. In her ten years with MCCC AE | OTC, she has developed extensive contacts and relationships, as well as affiliation agreements, with area providers such as the Cleveland Clinic, MetroHealth and University Hospitals.
While Janczura recognizes that adult learners face unique challenges balancing family and job responsibilities while continuing their education, she is confident that they can succeed. Her students have ranged in age from 18 years to their mid-fifties and come from a variety of backgrounds. Some are looking to continue and advance their education in the healthcare field, while others may be re-entering the workforce or even making a major career change.
One thing that all our successful students have in common is a sincere desire to learn. They bring qualities such as organization, time management, communication and listening skills to the classroom. These qualities, coupled with our superior programming and instruction and support from extraordinary people like Martha Janczura, have enabled our Medical Assisting students to achieve a 100% passing rate on the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam!
If you’re thinking about a career in healthcare, the MCCC AE | OTC has many training options available at our new South Campus facility to get you started quickly! Dental Assisting, Medical Assisting, Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) and Phlebotomy Technician are all enrolling now for Fall classes at our new South Campus.
With expert support, real-world experience, and proven outcomes, there’s no better place to start than MCCC AE | OTC.
