Cindy Grice, Adult Education Director
The Medina County Career Center Adult Education | Ohio Technical Centers (MCCC AE | OTC) is proud to welcome Cindy Grice as our new Adult Education Director! Cindy joined our team in October, bringing with her 28 years of experience in education and administration with the Medina City Schools district.
Cindy began her career in education as an elementary and middle school teacher and most recently served as Principal of Waite Elementary School and A.I. Root Middle School. Throughout her career, she has been a strong advocate for the Medina County Career Center and has long recognized the opportunities that career-technical education provides for lifelong learners. When the Adult Education Director position became available following the retirement of Christopher Kalina, Cindy was encouraged to explore this new challenge—and she enthusiastically accepted.
While the world of adult education differs in some ways from traditional K–12 education, Cindy is deeply committed to the shared mission of student success. Her extensive knowledge, strong work ethic, and genuine compassion drive her to support each student on their unique educational journey. Under her leadership, MCCC Adult Education | OTC will continue to empower learners to reach their personal and professional goals.
A graduate of Copley High School, Cindy holds both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Education from the University of Akron, as well as a superintendent’s licensure from Ashland University. She and her husband, Medina County Sheriff Terry Grice, are proud parents of two sons, Colin and Ryan. Outside of work, Cindy enjoys spending time with her family and engaging in community activities.
Please join us in welcoming Cindy Grice to the MCCC Adult Education | OTC team! We’re excited to see how her leadership, energy, and vision will continue to inspire our adult learners and strengthen our community.
