STUDENT of the MONTH

Brunswick senior Jackson Compton has been chosen as the Medina County Kiwanis December Student of the Month, an honor given by a panel of teachers from the Medina County Career Center.

Jackson, a senior in the Engineering Technologies & Design program, has served as class treasurer for the past two years. He also serves as treasurer of the Career Technical Student Leadership Council, is a member of the National Honor Society and the National Technical Honor Society and represents MCCC as a student ambassador. Teachers and peers describe Jackson as kind and adaptable, noting his willingness to help others both in the lab and beyond the classroom. He is recognized as a thoughtful listener who consistently supports and encourages those around him. Academically, Jackson excels in rigorous coursework, including AP Calculus, AP Physics, CCP Composition I and II, CCP World History, and CCP U.S. Government. Beyond the classroom, he is actively involved in service and leadership, volunteering with Camp Invention, VOFT, and Big Brothers Big Sisters, while also serving as a member of the Brunswick High School Student Council.
