Medina County Career Center Ohio Technical Center Earns Praise During COE Reaffirmation Visit
The Medina County Career Center’s Adult Education Division, recognized as an Ohio Technical Center (OTC) is proud to announce the successful completion of its Council on Occupational Education (COE) reaffirmation accreditation team visit.
During the multi-day evaluation, the visiting team reviewed programs, toured facilities, and clinical sites, and met with students, staff and community stakeholders. The team commended the center for its dedication to student success, strong industry partnerships, and commitment to continuous improvement in career and technical education. “This reaffirmation process validates the high standards we uphold at the Medina County Career Center,” said Christopher Kalina, Director of Adult Education. “It’s a reflection of the incredible work our staff does every day to ensure our students are prepared for success in today’s workforce.”
The accreditation reaffirmation marks another milestone in Medina County Career Center OTC’s mission to deliver high-quality, affordable training that meets the needs of local employers and empowers adult learners across the region. The final report from the Council on Occupational Education will be released in the coming months. In the meantime, the center extends its heartfelt thanks to staff, students, and community partners who contributed to this successful visit.
