MCCC Acquires Advanced Anatomage Tables for Hands-On Learning

The Medina County Career Center (MCCC) has taken a major step forward in health and science education with the recent acquisition of four Anatomage Tables—three stationary units and one mobile unit. These state-of-the-art virtual dissection tables represent some of the most advanced 3D medical visualization technology available today.

Anatomage Tables use digitized images of real human bodies to create fully-interactive, life-sized virtual cadavers. This technology allows students to explore and understand human anatomy in a dynamic, 3D environment, providing an innovative alternative to traditional methods of learning. With access to a comprehensive real-anatomy database and in-depth pathology content, students can gain practical insights and a real-world perspective critical to their future careers.

While primarily supporting MCCC’s healthcare programs such as Allied Health and Pre-Nursing, the Anatomage Tables will also benefit students in other disciplines. Criminal Justice students can utilize the technology for forensic investigation scenarios, and Animal Management & Care students will have access to an extensive animal cadaver database for veterinary studies.

The three stationary Anatomage Tables will be located in the former Z-Space in MCCC’s main building, while the mobile unit will be housed in the O.C. Duke Building, allowing for flexible use across campus. With this investment, MCCC reaffirms its commitment to providing students with cutting-edge tools and learning environments that prepare them for advanced education and in-demand careers.
