Melissa Farthing is a graduate of the Medina County Career Center’s Video Production Program. Melissa (Medina City Schools) placed first in the 2018 Take Action Video Contest sponsored by the Ohio Attorney General’s Office and the University of Cincinnati Economics Center. Students who competed were tasked with demonstrating their knowledge about the telemarketing-related topics of the National Do-Not-Call Registry, dealing with illegal robocalls and using technology to stop unwanted calls.
Melissa was awarded first place with a $2500 scholarship and has been invited to attend a ceremony in recognition of her award-winning video. The Medina County Career Center could not be more proud of this young woman! Learn more about the Video Production program.
