The WorkKeys® assessment is required for most programs at the Medina County Career Center. This assessment is a three-part exam measuring competency in important employment areas: Applied Math, Graphic Literacy, and Workplace Documents. Each part of the assessment may take up to an hour to complete. The WorkKeys assessment may be waived with the Director of Adult Education’s approval upon submission of recent ACT/SAT Scores or a College Transcript. Call for details.
Step 1
Register for the WorkKeys assessment to enroll in the program of choice.
Step 2
Visit MCCC South Campus to take the in-person test. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time with a valid (current) government-issued photo identification to complete the check-in process. Personal items (cellphones, food, drinks, hats, etc.) will be stored in a secure location during the testing session. Late arrivals and/or failure to attend will require rescheduling your assessment, which will result in a $50 testing fee.
Step 3
Upon receiving a passing score, continue the registration process for the chosen program.
The WorkKeys® assessment does not apply to Electricity or Welding Programs
