Governor DeWine Visit

Medina County Career Center was honored to have Governor Mike DeWine to visit our campus! During his visit, DeWine said that it was important for him to go and talk to people at the Career Center to get a better understanding of how the programs are going, all while learning more about them. “We’ve been putting really a lot of emphasis on our career centers and the reason is that we want to make sure that every student when they graduate from high school is on some pathway,” DeWine said. Advisory Council Meeting

Congratulations to the 2022 Award of Excellence recipient Chris Pappas, Twiisted! The MCCC Award of Excellence is presented to an Advisory Council member who enhances the Medina County Career Center’s position as a leader in education and community impact; takes initiative to solve problems and improve the education and learning of students; consistently goes over and above in support of the Medina County Career Center’s mission. The MCCC advisory council is a group of highly-qualified individuals who provide industry-appropriate recommendations for continuous improvement of career-technical programs.

Northern Medina County Chamber Alliance

Superintendents from Brunswick, Buckeye, Highland and the Medina County Career Center spoke about each district’s needs, projects and students during the Northern Medina County Chamber Alliance‘s Spotlight on the Schools luncheon at MCCC’s the Center Café.  Read more at the Medina Gazette
