On Wednesday, Sept., 3, Plastipak Packaging, Inc. and their mascot delivered 1,200 travel sized hand sanitizers to Medina County Career Center students and staff during lunch.
“Being a part of the Medina Community since 1971 – Medina has become home to Plastipak and our associates. We wanted to find a way to help the community in which we work – and in which many of our associates reside – especially during these trying times,” said Julie A. Vasek, talent manager, Plastipak Packaging, Inc. “What better way than to reach out to the students and teachers down the road at Medina County Career Center?! We felt the small donation would be a reminder to all of you that we’re thinking of you and pulling together as a community during this time. We wish you all a safe and healthy school year ahead!”
