Congressman Max Miller Donates $43,500 to the Medina County Career Center to Fund Student Career and Technical Fees.
Congressman Max Miller made good on his campaign promise to donate one-quarter of his salary to making his district’s communities stronger and supporting efforts that make NE Ohio a great place to live and work. Miller has been a champion and supporter of career and technical education, visiting the Medina County Career Center on several occasions.
Superintendent Steven Chrisman applauded Miller’s support stating, “This is unfathomable! The money donated to MCCC by Max Miller will support his initiative to remove barriers by helping to pay for student fees associated with the technical programs. Today, students who were previously unable to pay their fees can receive assistance in doing so and therefore are removed either partially or fully from the financial burden.”
We are excited about this donation and the opportunity it provides to help give our students a competitive advantage by furthering their education at the Medina County Career Center. Read the press release of Congressman Max Miller’s generous donation.
