Medina County Career Center (MCCC) would like to introduce Janice Kollar as the new Director of Adult Education. Janice superseded Peggy Reeves who retired on June 30, 2021.
Janice is bringing 20 years in education and is coming to MCCC from Buckeye Local School District where she served as a curriculum consultant, gifted coordinator and data coach. Previously, she was a classroom teacher of American history, spending the majority of her teaching career with Black River Local Schools. She has also served as a regional data lead with the Ohio Department of Education training districts on using student and district data to improve instruction.
Janice was born and raised in Medina County and currently resides in Litchfield with her husband, Brian, and her daughter, Jillian. She is excited to continue to serve Medina County through this position and looks forward to this new and exciting opportunity!
