1) Successful completion of the WorkKeys preassessment or waiver approved by the Director of Adult Education;
2) Must be at least 18 years old;
3) Have a valid Ohio Driver’s License;
4) Clean criminal record;
5) Completion of NIMS 100 & 700;
6) Valid physical examination (physicals are valid for one year from the date they were performed);
7) High School diploma or equivalent;
8) Eight hours of basic EMS training to include CPR, Trauma, Stroke, and PPE.
Students are required to furnish their turnout gear and SCBA.
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Have a valid Ohio Driver’s License
- Clean criminal record
- Completion of NIMS 100 & 700
- Valid physical examination (physicals are valid for one year from the date they were performed)
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Eight hours of basic EMS training to include CPR, Trauma, Stroke, and PPE
- Successful completion of the Workkeys assessment or a college transcript.
- Current and valid Firefighter I certificate.
- Current EVOC certificate completed no more than 12 months prior to the start of class. If a current EVOC certificate is unavailable, the student must attend the 16-hour EVOC course held at MCCC.
Students are required to furnish their turnout gear and SCBA.
