Opened in August 2025, the new state-of-the-art Fire Tower Training Center was championed by State Representative Sharon Ray, who secured $1 million in funding from the State of Ohio’s One-Time Strategic Community Investments Act. The fire tower’s design was created by MCCC Engineering Technologies and Design students in 2022: Lin Askew, Jojo Hrouda, and Catie Thomas.
Many of the tasks the fire service performs are physical in nature; because of that fact, it is important that Medina County’s first responders are provided training that is as realistic as possible. Medina County Safety Services are welcome to submit a Building Use Request Form to request a reservation.
