The gift will fund the development of a brand-new, state-of-the-art welding training program and lab.<\/p>\n<p>The addition of Welding reflects MCCC&#8217;s commitment to preparing students for high-demand careers. With a growing need for skilled welders across Medina County and throughout the country, graduates will be well-positioned for opportunities in manufacturing, construction, infrastructure, transportation, and other essential industries.<\/p>\n<p>While the program is still being finalized, students can expect hands-on training in Flux-Core, Stick, MIG, and TIG welding, as well as oxy-fuel welding and cutting, plasma cutting, blueprint reading, welding symbols, shop safety, and metal fabrication.
