{"id":19436,"date":"2020-12-22T11:31:03","date_gmt":"2020-12-22T16:31:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mcjvs.edu\/?p=19436"},"modified":"2020-12-22T11:31:27","modified_gmt":"2020-12-22T16:31:27","slug":"mccc-collects-toys-for-toys-for-tots","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mcjvs.edu\/?p=19436","title":{"rendered":"MCCC Collects Toys For Tots"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the midst of a pandemic, Medina County Career Center students and staff felt it was extra important to continue their annual <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.toysfortots.org\/Default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Toys For Tots<\/a><\/span> drive.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis year has been filled with so many challenges we felt it was only right to try to bring some joy to local families who are in need,\u201d said Janice Curtin, <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/mcjvs.edu\/?page_id=1534\">Early Childhood Education<\/a><\/span> instructor and one of the Toys For Tots drive organizers at MCCC.<\/p>\n<p>The drive ran from the end of November through mid-December. MCCC collected nearly 40 unwrapped, new gifts to donate.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlthough this is less than normal, we are proud to be able to give to our community,\u201d said Todd Mason, <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/mcjvs.edu\/?page_id=1524\">Construction Trades<\/a><\/span> instructor and one of the Toys For Tots organizers at MCCC. \u201cWe know every little bit helps.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Since 1947, Toys For Tots has distributed 584 million toys and supported 265 million children.
