{"id":15426,"date":"2019-09-17T09:16:32","date_gmt":"2019-09-17T14:16:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mcjvs.edu\/?p=15426"},"modified":"2019-09-17T09:16:32","modified_gmt":"2019-09-17T14:16:32","slug":"mccc-launches-stem-innovation-academy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mcjvs.edu\/?p=15426","title":{"rendered":"MCCC Launches Stem Innovation Academy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>In August, Medina County Career Center (MCCC) launched its new Stem Innovation Academy.\u00a0 <\/strong>The academy includes the <a href=\"https:\/\/mcjvs.edu\/?page_id=1537\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Engineering Technologies and Design<\/span><\/a> and <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/mcjvs.edu\/?page_id=1549\">Precision Machining Technology<\/a><\/span> career-technical majors.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe purpose of this academy is to help our engineering and precision machining majors collaborate providing our students with real-world experience,\u201d said Lorah Meech, engineering technologies and design instructor, MCCC. \u201cUnderstanding both industries are going to help our students excel professionally and academically.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>To support this collaboration, the Engineering Technologies and Design major relocated next to Precision Machining Technology.
