Fall, winter and spring breaks may be good times to attend.<\/li>\n<li>Sign up for ACT or SAT prep courses.<\/li>\n<li>Consider registering for the winter or spring ACT and\/or SAT test.<\/li>\n<li>Do your top college picks require essays or recommendations? Now is the time to begin planning your essays and choosing whom you\u2019d like to ask for a recommendation.<\/li>\n<li>Attend the College Credit Plus meeting at MCCC and\/or your home high school to find out about your options for taking college classes during your senior year.<\/li>\n<li>Start investigating private and public sources for financial aid. The Medina County College\/Career Fair is held in October at the Medina Fairgrounds.<\/li>\n<li>Visit the colleges that you plan to apply to and be sure to submit your College Visit form in a timely manner.<\/li>\n<li>Apply for admission at the colleges you\u2019ve chosen.\u00a0 Pay close attention to deadlines!<\/li>\n<li>Find out if you qualify for scholarships at each college to which you have applied.<\/li>\n<li>Check Financial Aid deadlines for each college to which you have applied and be sure you meet it.<\/li>\n<li>Student and parent need to register for an FSA ID before completing the FAFSA.<\/li>\n<li>Start the financial aid application process by completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) after it opens on October 1.<\/li>\n<li>Attend a Financial Aid meeting at MCCC or your home school to help you better understand the FAFSA.<\/li>\n<li>See your school counselor for information about where to look for financial aid and scholarships.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><div class=\"nav fusion-mobile-tab-nav\"><ul class=\"nav-tabs nav-justified\" role=\"tablist\"><li role=\"presentation\"><a class=\"tab-link\" data-toggle=\"tab\" role=\"tab\" aria-controls=\"tab-73ec557831040918e90\" aria-selected=\"false\" tabindex=\"-1\" id=\"mobile-fusion-tab-seniors:springsemester\" href=\"#tab-73ec557831040918e90\"><h4 class=\"fusion-tab-heading\">SENIORS: Spring Semester<\/h4><\/a><\/li><\/ul><\/div><div class=\"tab-pane fade fusion-clearfix\" role=\"tabpanel\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-labelledby=\"fusion-tab-seniors:springsemester\" id=\"tab-73ec557831040918e90\">\n<ul>\n<li>Continue to work hard, second semester grades can affect scholarship eligibility.<\/li>\n<li>If you haven\u2019t already, submit your FAFSA to receive the best financial aid opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Review your FAFSA Submission Summary to learn about your financial aid eligibility.<\/li>\n<li>Review your college acceptances and compare the colleges\u2019 financial aid\u00a0offers.<\/li>\n<li>Finalize your school choice\u00a0to attend and notify\u00a0all\u00a0schools you were accepted to\u00a0of your decision\u00a0to attend or not attend.<\/li>\n<li>Keep track of and observe deadlines for\u00a0college enrollment paperwork and\u00a0required fees.<\/li>\n<li>Continue to look for\u00a0and apply to\u00a0scholarship opportunities;
