The Medina County Career Center will be hosting the annual College Credit Plus informational meeting on Thursday, November 7 at 6:30 pm in the Mall.
This meeting is for students hoping to take college classes during the 2020-2021 school year at the Medina County Career Center in conjunction with Lorain County Community College. Both students and parents are strongly encouraged to attend.
A Lorain County Community College representative will be here to explain CCP program requirements for participation and deadlines. There will also be mandatory forms distributed.
The College Credit Plus (CCP) program gives students in grades 7-12 the opportunity to obtain college credits and apply those credits toward both a high school diploma and college degree. Tuition, materials, and textbooks are provided at no cost to the students. Specific program requirements must be met for participation including submitting an intent to participate form by April 1st to the school counseling office.
