Adult Education: Challenge Course Instructor (Part-time)

The Challenge Course Coordinator will ensure that all policies and procedures are followed in order to effectively manage the risk of the activities while accomplishing the goals and objectives of participants.  The Coordinator must be a responsible, detail-oriented, and personable individual who can work with a wide variety of groups.

Minimum Requirements: Challenge Course/Climbing Wall Instructor Certification; Program Planning Management; Ensure Challenge Course equipment and program meets or exceeds safety regulations; Ensure safety of all participants; Conduct ropes course facilitator training; Brief groups on safety, equipment, climbing/belaying protocol; Practice and be prepared for emergency procedures, rescues, and scripted protocol for emergency response; Record all inspections in Climbing/High Ropes Log Book; Current Standard First Aid/CPR or Higher.
Desirable Qualifications: Specialized Knowledge and Certification
Work Week/Year: Part-time hours as assigned
Salary: Appropriate step on Adult Education Salary Schedule, commensurate with experience and education
